Get to know Clare
I qualified as a solicitor in 2006, specialising in family law. I have extensive experience of all aspects of relationship breakdown including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, cohabitation disputes, dissolution of civil partnerships, applications under the Family Law Act and nuptial agreements.
I have a particular interest in resolving arrangements for children. I have represented a range of clients from high-net worth individuals, medical professionals, the Armed Forces and the Police Federation. I understand how stressful a relationship breakdown can be and how important it is to feel heard and understood.
I pride myself on keeping my clients informed so that they know their case matters to me. I am committed to helping my clients reach a resolution in the most constructive and amicable way possible.
My aim therefore, is to try to resolve matters out of court, particularly where children are involved, being aware of the impact that court proceedings can have on all of the family. Where a court application is necessary however, I am meticulous in my preparation and will always provide sensible, tailored advice to ensure that my clients achieve the best possible outcome.
Career highlights
I am privileged to have been able to help so many people over the years to move forward and rebuild their lives, following the breakdown of their relationship. It gives me great pleasure to know that clients feel better when they have spoken to me, having received clear advice and having been given a planned way forward.
They know that they are in good hands and that I will do my upmost to help them achieve their goals. I have offered advice on a wide range of private family law issues, often with international elements.
I particularly enjoy advising on complex child arrangement applications involving issues of implacable hostility, parental alienation and leave to remove and relocation applications.
The extra mile
I am a member of Resolution, a national organisation of Family Lawyers committed to resolving Family Law disputes in a non-confrontational and constructive manner.
